CONVICTION AND SENTENCING IN CHILD RAPE CASE

We are pleased to announce that 25-year-old Aniedi Mfon has been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for the rape of an 8-year-old child. The verdict was delivered by Hon. Justice Blessing Egwu, who highlighted the alarming prevalence of rape cases. Additionally, a fine of one million naira was awarded to the survivor.
